Raeford Christian School is a K-12 Christian institution dedicated to excellence in education grounded in Biblical truth. Our mission is clear: Raeford Christian School aims to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples. We plan to accomplish this by training students to think, live, and lead as Christians, grounded in a Biblical worldview. Every day we will serve with purposeful intention—to nurture a deep and abiding love for Jesus in each of our students. We are committed to teaching the truths of Scripture, aiming not only for biblical knowledge but for a growing faith and a daily walk with the Lord.

Meet Our Founder
Rose Hedgpeth
Founder, Raeford Christian School
Rose Hedgpeth was born and raised in Raeford, North Carolina, and continues to call Hoke County home with her husband, Michael, and their three sons. A proud graduate of Hoke County High School, Rose went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
She began her professional career in banking, where she spent nearly a decade serving in positions such as Bank Manager and Licensed Investment Associate. Despite her success in the financial industry, Rose felt the calling from the Lord to make a more direct impact in the lives of young people. She transitioned into education, teaching in the Hoke County public school system for almost five years before joining Sandhills Community College to support non-traditional students in completing their GED.
Currently, Rose serves as the Guidance Counselor and Testing Coordinator at Fayetteville Christian School. She is deeply passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and believes in serving others through faith. With a deep love for her community and a heart rooted in service, Rose is now pursuing a vision placed on her heart—to establish Raeford Christian School. Through this endeavor, she hopes to create a Christ-centered educational environment that uplifts and transforms the lives of students and families in Hoke County.
